ABOUT STRADER’S GARDEN CENTERS
All of our plants are grown by us in our Ohio-based greenhouses and nurseries.
Over 60 years ago, Jack and Ruth Strader founded Strader’s Garden Center with just one small garden store on King Avenue. Today, the seed that was planted continues to flourish as Strader’s has branched out many times. Throughout the years, the company expanded and now includes six retail locations and two wholesale divisions in the heart of Ohio.
Strader’s operates as a family business, as each of the couple’s four children played a role in the company’s growth. Many team members have been with the company for a substantial portion of their careers, which is a testimony to the business’s success, longevity, and culture.
With its roots firmly planted in Ohio, Strader’s specializes in gardening and landscaping supplies, lawn care, mulches, fountains, pond supplies, lawnmowers, trees, flowers and much more. Annuals, perennials, vegetables, and herbs are grown in Strader’s own greenhouses located throughout the State.
Strader’s Garden Centers believes in hiring people of integrity who deliver outstanding customer service.
